Website Issues

Hello. We've received feedback that some of the text on this blog sometimes appears out of place and is difficult to read. If you are experiencing this problem, it may have to do with the web browser you are using to view the site. For best results, use either Firefox, Chrome, or Safari. You can download any of these browsers for free. These browsers display the site with no problems. Thanks for letting us know.

The majority of the corporate world does not allow or support Firefox, Chrome or Safari (What is a safari doing as a browser - shooting animals does not equal a browser. IE 7/8 is what is the standard and these are causing the issue. Fix It!

Sorry you are having issues. Feel free to email the people at Blogger and tell them your concerns.

On a side note, about a third of the people who view this site use IE, and the same amount use Firefox. Safari and Chrome users pretty much make up the other third.

Also, if you are not able to view the website well on IE at work, just wait until you get home and download another browser (they're free, quick to install, and there aren't any restrictions about which browser you can use on your home computer).

Century 2.2 Building Project

The "2.2" refers to the fact that in 2010 Riverview is working on its second century of existence - and is already in the second decade of that century. "2.2" also refers to the theme scripture of the project - Second Timothy 2.2: "The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also."

The Century 2.2 Project will provide handicapped access throughout our facilities, increase foyer space, provide more classroom space with greater flexibility, improve overall building security, add fire sprinkler service to the entire building, and lay the ground-work for increasing the size of our Fellowship Hall and the updating of our kitchen facilities.

This site will chronicle the progress of Riverview's Century 2.2 Building Project. You can find past entries and photos of the project below. Click on the images you see to be taken to an enlarged version. Older photos and information can be found in the "Blog Archive" below. Check back often, because new photos and information about the project will be added regularly. And please remember to pray for Riverview, its people, and the Century 2.2 Project.
